All About Dachshund Dogs
It is easy to order personal checks with Dachshund dogs or puppies on them.
The Dachshund is a dog breed from the hound family with an elongated body and short legs. Originally, the standard-sized Dachshund was developed to sniff, chase and flush burrow-dwelling animals such as badgers and rabbits. Its name "Dachshund" originated from Germany which has a literal meaning of "badger dog".
Typical Dachshunds are muscular and long-bodied, and have short and stumpy legs. Unusually large, its paws take on a paddle shape and are efficiently used for digging. Its deep chest allows adequate lung capacity to be able to keep going during hunting.
Dachshunds have 3 types of coats: the smooth hair, the long hair and the wire-hair. They also have a wide range of patterns and colors: single colors and double colors that include combinations of black and tan as well as chocolate and cream.
With great determination and ferocity, Dachshunds are known for their tendency to chase birds and other small animals, even tennis balls as well. However, they are stubborn dogs, which make training a real challenge. Dachshunds are known to have loud barks, and if they are not properly trained, they can produce barks that can be a nuisance to owners and neighbors as well. These dogs are very loyal and devoted to their owners while being standoffish and unfriendly to strangers.
Many people love their Dachshunds because they are so lovable and loyal. They also have traditionally been made as symbols of Germany by several political cartoonists. Dachshunds have also been featured over and over again in popular books, shows and films. This includes Toy Story, That 70's Show, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Open Season, Raising Helen, Lady and the Tramp, Disney's The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and so much more.
